Domaine de Terrebrune takes its name from the brown-colored soils composed of Triassic limestone. This unique terroir, situated on steep terraces (restanques) between the sea and the mountains, benefits from a microclimate tempered by sea breezes. Certified Organic, the estate places Mourvèdre at the heart of its philosophy. Its wines—Red, Rosé, and White—are distinguished by timeless elegance, saline structure, and an incredible freshness that defies aging. Bandol's Geological Exception

The Terrebrune style is often described as "northern" within the South, as it prioritizes mineral vibration and balance.

The pillars of Terrebrune's expertise:

  • Ancient Terroir: The estate sits on Triassic limestone (very rare in Bandol), which provides a saline signature and natural acidity, allowing the wines to age for decades.

  • Mourvèdre in Majesty: The estate's star grape is crafted for finesse. In red, it offers notes of black fruit, liquorice, and forest floor. In rosé, it provides structure and nobility.

  • Organic & Artisanal Viticulture: No herbicides, no chemicals. Everything is done by hand on the stone terraces. Respecting the soil is essential for the roots to dive into the brown limestone.
