The Roussette de Savoie “Anne Sophie” from Domaine Anne‑Sophie and Jean‑François Quénard highlights the native Altesse grape, grown on clay‑limestone, limestone scree and moraine soils around Chignin and Saint‑Jean‑de‑la‑Porte.
Carefully vinified and often aged for nearly two years — typically in 600 L barrels — this Roussette reveals a rich and well‑balanced aromatic profile: notes of pear, peach, citrus, white flowers and subtle hints of brioche or honey. The palate is round and generous at first, then evolves into a fresh, mineral finish that beautifully expresses its alpine terroir.
