Clos de Tart 2021
Clos de Tart Grand Cru is one of Burgundy’s ultimate summits. This historic Monopole, under the same boundaries since 1141, is a masterpiece of balance and depth. Farmed biodynamically, it expresses the quintessence of Pinot Noir on complex limestone terroir. The nose is an aromatic symphony: heirloom rose, violet, intense black berries, and precious spices. On the palate, it displays magisterial power, always draped in a silky texture. The tannins are of rare nobility, offering a velvety mouthfeel that culminates in an endless, saline, and vibrant finish. A wine of sovereign elegance, capable of aging for decades, representing the true aristocracy of Morey-Saint-Denis Grands Crus.

The Strength of History, the Purity of the Future Clos de Tart is unique because it has never been divided. This unity allows for a precise reading of the terroir, magnified by goldsmith-like viticulture.
-
The Clos Mosaic: Although a single monopole, the Clos consists of 6 micro-terroirs harvested separately. Their blending creates a complete wine: the structure from the lower slopes marries with the mineral finesse of the upper crest.
-
Row Orientation: Unlike most of Burgundy, the vines are planted perpendicular to the slope (north-south). This protects the grapes from erosion and allows for slow, homogeneous ripening, ensuring freshness.
-
Tailored Aging: Under Alessandro Noli's direction, the use of new oak is perfectly integrated to highlight the fruit's nobility without ever overpowering it, preserving the Grand Cru's crystalline purity.
