The Pinot Noir in its Light Garb

If the estate is famous for its whites, its "generic" reds are true gems of precision. Here, Florent and Clément Pinard seek to capture the energy of the fruit. This Sancerre Rouge is a faithful reflection of the soils of Bué, where the limestone brings a particularly fine grain.

A Gentle Vinification

Terroir: Blend of clay-limestone plots.
Philosophy: Sustainable viticulture, respectful of natural cycles, without any chemical herbicides.
Vinification: Extraction is carried out gently to avoid any tannic harshness. Aging is primarily done in tanks (sometimes with a small portion in neutral old barrels) to preserve the brightness of the fruit.

Sensory Profile

Color: Clear, bright ruby.
Nose: Very expressive and spring-like. It reveals fresh cherry, raspberry, and a hint of white pepper.
Palate: A "glou-glou" wine but with substance. The attack is smooth, the texture is fine, and the finish is marked by a beautiful acidity that adds to its digestibility. It is an airy and graceful wine.
