List of products by brand Domaine Vincent Girardin

Located in Meursault, Domaine Vincent Girardin is a key name in modern Burgundy. After being one of the region's largest merchants, the estate refocused its activity on its own vineyards (about 22 hectares) with a philosophy radically geared toward excellence. Under the technical direction of Eric Germain, the style has evolved toward exemplary purity and tension. The wines, whether white (Meursault, Puligny, Chassagne) or red (Volnay, Pommard), are admired for their elegance, discreet aging, and their ability to transcribe the minerality of the terroirs with surgical precision.

The Quest for Crystalline Purity

Since the early 2010s, Domaine Vincent Girardin has undergone a stylistic revolution acclaimed by international critics. The era of opulent and heavily oaked wines is over, giving way to a quest for verticality and freshness.

Uncompromising Standards:

  • Respectful Viticulture: The estate applies principles close to biodynamics: plowed soils, no herbicides or insecticides, and respect for natural cycles to strengthen the vine's natural defenses.

  • "Haute-Couture" Winemaking: Eric Germain favors slow pressing and natural fermentations. For the whites, the use of 500-liter barrels (demi-muids) is preferred to limit the impact of oxygen and new oak, thereby preserving the "climat" of each plot.

  • Balance and Freshness: The wines are distinguished by noble acidity and overflowing energy. These are gastronomic wines, digestible and possessing great saline persistence.
