Cognac Paul Giraud is a family-owned house in Grande Champagne crafting artisanal, exceptional cognacs through eleven generations, with hand-harvested grapes and extended oak aging for refined complexity and authenticity.
Cognac Paul Giraud is an independent, family-run cognac house based in Bouteville, at the heart of the esteemed Grande Champagne region — the premier cru of Cognac.
With roots tracing back to 1635, Paul Giraud represents eleven generations of expertise in crafting cognac, passed down through the family. The estate comprises around 50 hectares planted with Ugni-Blanc, hand-harvested to ensure fruit of the highest quality.
Production follows traditional artisanal methods: hand picking, classic double copper pot still distillation with careful cuts, and extended aging in oak barrels in humid cellars. These practices yield eaux-de-vie with refined floral and fruit notes that evolve into deeper spice and rancio characteristics as they mature.
Paul Giraud’s range includes classic VSOP and Napoléon expressions to very old blends and rare reserves, enjoyed today in selective markets across more than 35 countries.
