Crozes-Hermitage "Cuvée L" 2024 Domaine Combier

Produced by the Domaine Combier, an essential reference of the Crozes-Hermitage appellation and a pioneer of organic farming in the Rhône Valley, the Cuvée L offers an immediate, fresh, and friendly expression of Syrah from the Rhône. Created in the late 1990s, this cuvée was designed to provide an accessible, indulgent wine that is true to the style of the estate.

Primarily sourced from soils of rolled pebbles, clay-limestone, and loess hills, this red Crozes-Hermitage highlights pure fruit and balance, in a soft and charming style. More immediate than the Domaine cuvée, the Cuvée L emphasizes freshness and drinkability while retaining the identity of the great Syrah wines from northern Rhône.

A fruity and spicy red Crozes-Hermitage

In appearance, the wine displays a beautiful deep red color with violet reflections. The nose is intense and elegant, marked by aromas of fresh red fruits, blackberry, blackcurrant, violet, and sweet spices. On the palate, the attack is soft and crunchy, driven by generous fruit, fine tannins, and a fresh finish enhanced by notes of black pepper, typical of Syrah.

Easy to enjoy from its youth thanks to its indulgent profile, the Cuvée L Domaine Combier can also evolve harmoniously for a few years in the cellar to gain aromatic complexity.
