Welcome to the Chais The vineyards of paradise located in Ballaison near Thonon-les-Bains in the department of Haute-Savoie (74). We have specialized in wine production for more than 5 generations.

The 7.5-hectare area is located in the Wine-Savoie wine region (74) on Lake Geneva distributed on 2 appellations, crepy and seascape. We cultivate the Chasselas grape, by being released for the appellations voluntarily to make quality wines appreciated and requested by our demanding clientele. Our domain has been completed by planting other grape varieties such as Chardonnay, the Savagnin, Sauvignon, Pinot Noir, Highness and Chenin, as well as the acquisition of a Gamay parcel

The harvest is made in several passages to pick up the grapes at better maturity vinification is traditional, long and breeding in barrels, ovoid tanks, amphora and pyramid. Manual harvests are realized with a sorting demanding to the vine and the cellar on the vibrant tris table.

We voluntarily realize a weak yield to offer our customers specific and balanced wines to our clientele. Our old vineyards and rugged are plowed on horseback. After the harvest, our vineyards are entrusted to sheep for ground interviews. Our vines are treated with medicinal plants harvested in the mountains and dried in the field as well as essential oils. We use the planetary calendar for most interventions on vineyards, vinification and bottling.

Our new tanks are built by us by incorporating the source water from Thonon les Bains, the local gravel and the sand of

Chamonix, to be able to vinify on our terroir.

All interventions on our vineyards and wines are made in the deepest respect of biodynamics.
